Stirling & Central Scotland
Natural portraits beside the Wallace Monument, Doune Castle, and across Central Scotland.
Stirling Portrait Sessions
Stirling has been the hinge on which Scottish history has swung for a thousand years — and the landscape that made it so strategically vital is the same landscape that makes it so extraordinary for portrait photography. The volcanic crag of Stirling Castle rock, the sweeping Forth floodplain, the distant Highland line, and the sudden drama of Abbey Craig and the Wallace Monument together form a backdrop unlike anywhere else in Scotland.
I offer individual, couple, and small group portrait sessions across Stirling and Central Scotland — from the intimate woodland of Bridge of Allan to the full Highland drama of the Trossachs edge.

Locations
Wallace Monument & Abbey Craig
The Victorian Gothic tower rises from a crag of volcanic rock above the Forth floodplain — the surrounding woodland and open cliff views are magnificent for portrait sessions.
Stirling Castle & Old Town
The castle rock, the Church of the Holy Rude, and the cobbled Old Town give Stirling an instantly recognisable historic character. Access to castle grounds requires tickets; the surrounding area is free.
Doune Castle, Doune
The imposing 14th-century stronghold (filmed as Winterfell and Castle Anthrax) — a famously photogenic ruin with the River Teith curving below it.
The Trossachs & Loch Lomond Edge
The southern Highlands — Loch Lomond's east bank, the Queen Elizabeth Forest Park, and Loch Katrine — are 30–40 minutes from Stirling and provide full Highland portrait settings.
The Ochil Hills
The abrupt southern scarp of the Ochil Hills above Stirling — Dollar Glen, Alva Glen, and the open summit ridges provide excellent walking portrait sessions with views over the entire Forth Valley.
Forth Valley & Bridge of Allan
The gentler side of Stirling — the spa town of Bridge of Allan, the University of Stirling campus, and the River Forth meanders offer quieter, verdant portrait settings.
