What should I wear for a coaching brand shoot?
Wear what you wear when you meet clients in person — not smarter, not more casual. Authenticity matters more than formality. Bring 2–3 outfit options and we'll discuss which suits which setting in our strategy call.
What backgrounds and environments work best for coaching brands?
I find a mix works best: one polished setting (cafe, co-working space, tasteful wall) for authority, and one warmer, more human setting (outdoor, natural light) for approachability. We decide in your strategy call based on your brand personality.
Do I need props?
Optional — but useful. A notebook, a well-chosen book, a cup of coffee, a laptop open on a workshop. Props should be things you actually use, not performance items. I'll advise on this during the strategy call.
How often should coaches update their brand photos?
I recommend refreshing every 18–24 months, or sooner if you change your focus area, launch a new programme, or shift your price point upwards. Your photos should match who your clients are hiring now, not who you were three years ago.
