Natural, timeless and consistent — the aesthetic choices behind every gallery I deliver.

Editing style is the visual signature of a photographer. The choices made in post-production — how highlights are handled, how skin tones are treated, the overall balance of warm and cool, how much contrast is applied — define how a body of work looks and feels.
My editing style is intentionally consistent across different types of work. A wedding gallery, a newborn session and a brand shoot should all be recognisable as coming from the same photographer — with natural, timeless processing that holds up well over time without looking dated.
The specific choices I make are explained below. Understanding my editing style helps clients know what to expect from their gallery and ensures there are no surprises when images are delivered.
Accurate, natural skin tone reproduction is my primary editing priority. I process different skin tones to look natural to themselves — not corrected toward a particular ideal. No artificial warming or cooling of skin tones.
My overall aesthetic lends toward bright, clean editing with lifted shadows and controlled highlights — airy without being overexposed. Galleries feel light and optimistic.
I deliberately avoid editing trends that date quickly — heavy orange-and-teal colour grading, crushed blacks, dramatic cross-processing. My editing is designed to look natural in 10 years, not just in the current season.
A subtle warmth inspired by film photography without the exaggerated grain or colour shifts of heavy film simulation. The reference point is Portra 400 at its most natural.
Galleries maintain consistent colour treatment throughout — images from different times of day, indoors and out, look like they belong together.
Standard retouching removes temporary blemishes and distractions. I do not perform extensive body retouching unless specifically requested — I photograph people as they are.
