The most useful thing you can read when planning a wedding is not a supplier's website — it's the honest account of a real couple who did it. Real weddings capture the texture of actual experience: what worked, what they'd do differently, how a venue felt on the day, what they wish they'd known.

The weddings featured here were all photographed by me and written about in collaboration with the couples themselves. They span a wide range of venues, budgets, sizes and styles — from intimate elopements to 200-guest country house celebrations, from Scottish castles to Cambridge colleges, from the Cotswolds to the Kent coast.
