Destination Wedding Photographer — a UK Photographer Who Travels, at Home and Across Europe
The phrase destination wedding photographer means two different things to different couples, and I cover both. For some, the destination is a beautiful corner of the UK — a Cotswolds manor, a Highland estate, a coastal venue in Wales — somewhere worth travelling to that isn't their home town. For others, it means a wedding abroad: Italy, France, Greece or Spain. Based in Cambridge, I work across the whole of the United Kingdom without the regional fuss many photographers attach to it, and I travel into Europe for destination weddings and elopements. This page is the single starting point for both.
Choosing a UK wedding photographer who travels has real advantages over hiring locally at the destination. You build a relationship with one person before the day, you see a consistent body of work rather than a stranger's portfolio, and you have a photographer who understands the documentary brief you discussed from the very first conversation. I deliberately keep my schedule limited so that every wedding — at home or abroad — receives the same attention: advance location research, timeline planning built around the light, and unobtrusive coverage of the day as it actually happens.
For European destinations, travel is quoted clearly and, for most locations within a short flight of the UK, included within the package. For weddings further afield, costs are itemised honestly up front. I'm not an agency promising to be "based everywhere" — I'm one photographer who travels well and tells you plainly whether I'm the right fit for your wedding. Wherever you're marrying, in the UK or across Europe, get in touch with your date, location and a little about your day, and I'll reply within 24 hours.
