Weddings, families and portraits in Huntingdon — alongside the Great Ouse, in Hinchingbrooke Park, and across Huntingdonshire.
Huntingdon Photography
Huntingdon is one of Cambridgeshire's most historically rich market towns — Cromwell's birthplace, a medieval priory converted to a country house, and the Great Ouse valley stretching east and west through meadow and woodland. I photograph weddings, families, portraits, headshots, and corporate commissions across Huntingdon and the wider Huntingdonshire area, working with the town's riverside settings, parkland, and historic architecture.
Hinchingbrooke Country Park and the adjacent Tudor manor house provide the area's finest combined wedding setting — formal house architecture and natural parkland within easy reach of the A14. For family portrait sessions, the park's 170 acres of varied landscape, the towpath walk south to Godmanchester, and the open water of Grafham Reservoir all give different qualities of light and environment across the seasons.
The Great Ouse riverside between Huntingdon bridge, Godmanchester's Chinese Bridge, and the Hartford meadows south of the town is one of the most photogenic river corridors in the east of England. Willows, meadow grass, and the flat Cambridgeshire light give portrait sessions a distinctive quality that particularly suits documentary-style natural-light photography.

For couples and weddings, the Great Ouse riverside between Huntingdon and Godmanchester gives beautiful light in the late afternoon. The Old Bridge Hotel gardens also provide a manicured, photogenic river-facing environment.
Yes — Hinchingbrooke House is a licensed wedding venue. The Tudor manor house, the grounds, and the adjoining Country Park give a complete wedding day environment that I photograph regularly. The combination of the formal house courtyard and the natural parkland makes it one of the most versatile wedding settings in Cambridgeshire.
