Client Guide
How to download, back up, print and share your photographs — everything you need to know to look after your images properly.
Get in TouchClient Guide
You've received your gallery link — now what? Digital photography files are both simpler and more complex than most clients expect, and a few minutes of reading this guide will save you frustration and ensure your images are properly preserved.
This guide covers everything from downloading your gallery to backing it up, printing at the right size, sharing on social media and what to do if you ever need your images again years from now.
If anything here is unclear, please ask — I'd rather answer ten extra questions than have a client lose their images because of an avoidable mistake.
Your gallery arrives via a private link. To download all images at once, look for the 'Download All' option. On mobile, save to your camera roll or iCloud/Google Photos. On desktop, save to a dedicated folder.
Your images are delivered as high-resolution JPEGs. JPEG is the industry standard for client delivery — compatible with every device, printable to any size and ideal for sharing.
High-resolution files from a professional camera can be printed to A2 (approximately 42x59cm) or larger with excellent quality. Most files are 4000–6000 pixels on the long edge.
Immediately back up your images to at least two locations — cloud storage (Google Photos, iCloud, Amazon Photos) AND a physical backup (external hard drive). Losing images is heartbreaking and entirely preventable.
Your gallery link is active for 60 days. Download everything within this window. I retain a backup archive for 12 months, after which images may no longer be recoverable.
Social media platforms compress images automatically. Upload directly from your gallery downloads — do not screenshot. For Instagram, portrait-format images (4:5 ratio) display best in the feed.
