Natural, documentary family portraits across the Cotswolds, Forest of Dean, Stroud Valleys and beyond.
Gloucestershire contains two of England's finest landscapes within a single county: the honey-stone Cotswold plateau to the east, with its rolling escarpment, beech hangers and market towns; and the ancient Forest of Dean to the west — one of England's great oak forests, now threaded with sculpture trails and cycling paths. Between them, the Severn Vale and the intimate Stroud Valleys offer pastoral, wooded settings of a quieter character.
I photograph families across all of Gloucestershire, working in natural light and following each family's own pace so the photographs capture real warmth rather than performed smiles.

Late April to mid-May, depending on the year. The Forest of Dean and the Cotswold beech woods are both extraordinary in bluebell season.
I particularly love the escarpment viewpoints above Cheltenham and the beech hangers around Painswick for their light quality and scenic drama.
Yes — the Forest of Dean is one of my favourite locations in the county for family photography.
Absolutely — dogs are always welcome and add a natural warmth to family sessions.
