Kent's glorious countryside — the North Downs, Romney Marsh, ancient orchards, hop gardens, and the dramatic White Cliffs coastline — provides exceptional family photography locations across all seasons. From the beach at Whitstable and the cliff-top walks at Folkestone to the orchards of the Weald and the woodland paths of the North Downs Way, Kent has an extraordinary variety of natural settings.
I travel across Kent for family photography sessions. Spring blossom in the orchards is particularly special, as is autumn colour in the chestnut forests above Sevenoaks. I work in a relaxed, child-led way — the whole extended family, dogs, picnics, and muddy boots are entirely welcome.

Kent Family Photography FAQs
When is the best time to book a family session in +
Spring (April–May) and autumn (September–October) give the best light and colour. Summer golden-hour sessions (6–8pm) are especially beautiful. I recommend booking 6–8 weeks ahead to secure your preferred date.
What if my children won't cooperate?+
Completely normal — I work in a relaxed, child-led way. I don't direct children into poses; I follow their lead and photograph the real interactions. The best images often come from 'uncooperative' moments.
Which Kent location would you recommend?+
It depends on your family's personality and what kind of images you want. I'm happy to advise based on your preferences — contact me and we'll find the perfect spot.
Can we bring our dog?+
Absolutely — dogs are very welcome. They often add the best moments of the session. Just let me know in advance so I can plan the location to be dog-friendly.
How long until we receive our photos?+
Your private online gallery will be ready within 10 business days of the session. You'll receive a link to download all your images in full resolution.
