Worcester & Worcestershire
Natural family sessions across Worcestershire — Malvern Hills, Cathedral riverside, and the beautiful Worcestershire countryside.
Worcester Family Photography
Worcestershire is defined by its contrasts — the gentle cathedral city of Worcester beside the River Severn, the ancient dramatic ridge of the Malvern Hills to the west, the rich agricultural Vale of Evesham to the south, and the deep Wyre Forest to the north. Each offers a completely different setting for outdoor family photography.
I work in a relaxed, documentary style — following your family at their own pace, capturing real moments rather than arranging them. Sessions in the Malvern Hills particularly benefit from this approach: the landscape itself carries the portraits.

Locations
Malvern Hills
The ancient Malvern Hills rise dramatically from the Worcestershire plain — open moorland, sweeping views towards Wales, ancient pathways, and extraordinary light in all seasons. One of England's finest outdoor photography settings.
Worcester Cathedral & Riverside
The Norman cathedral towers above the River Severn — the riverside meadows, bridge, and cathedral grounds provide beautiful, layered backdrops within easy reach of the city centre.
Croome (National Trust)
Capability Brown's masterwork — the sweeping parkland, lake, and the restored house create an elegant, varied setting for outdoor family portraits.
Hartlebury Common
An open sandy heath north of Worcester — bracken, birch woodland, and open views. Particularly beautiful in late summer and autumn.
Spetchley Park Gardens
A beautiful estate garden east of Worcester — flowering borders, walled gardens, and a deer park. Seasonal entry required.
Bewdley & the Wyre Forest
The ancient Wyre Forest and the Georgian town of Bewdley on the River Severn — exceptional for families who love woodland and waterside settings.
The Malvern Hills are outstanding — the open, dramatic landscape creates portraits with a real sense of place. For something closer in, the Cathedral riverside is beautiful in golden hour light. I'm happy to advise based on your family's style.
Yes — I love sessions in the Malvern Hills and know the best pathways, summit approaches, and light conditions throughout the year. The hills are at their finest in early autumn and spring.
Yes — I cover Worcester, Malvern, Pershore, Evesham, Redditch, Bromsgrove, Kidderminster, Bewdley, and the wider county. A small travel supplement applies for locations beyond 30 miles from base.
The Malvern Hills are exceptional in autumn (bracken turning gold and copper) and late spring. Croome Park and the Worcester riverside are beautiful year-round in good light.
Yes — dogs are welcome at most outdoor locations and the Malvern Hills are ideal. Please let me know when booking.
