Moving Home Photography

Moving home is one of the most significant transitions a family goes through — yet it's almost never properly documented photographically. The home you raised your children in, the garden where every summer happened, the kitchen where everything important was said — the instinct is to pack it up and move forward without stopping to record it.

A moving home session creates a photographic record of the home you're leaving *as it was* — lived-in, meaningful, full of the life you made there. And, if you'd like, photographs of first moments in the new home too.

These sessions are quiet, unhurried and often deeply meaningful in retrospect. Some clients have told me these are among the photographs they value most — the ones that captured something that is genuinely now gone.
