About My Work
Natural light. Documentary instinct. Warm, timeless editing. Photographs that feel like you.

Every photographer has a style — a particular way of seeing, of moving through a room, of choosing what to include and what to leave out. Mine developed gradually over years of shooting, but I can now describe it clearly: I make photographs that prioritise authenticity over perfection, feeling over technique, and timelessness over trend.
I work primarily in natural light. I find the beautiful light that already exists in any space — the window, the open door, the last rays of the afternoon sun — and I work within it. I don't use flash at receptions unless it's genuinely unavoidable. The warmth, the depth, and the mood of natural-light photography is irreplaceable, and it ages better than anything else.
My editing style is warm, natural and clean. I avoid the heavy presets — the orange-and-teal, the extreme fading, the moody darkness — that date photographs to a specific year. I aim for photographs that could have been made any time in the last twenty years, and will still look beautiful twenty years from now.
I seek out and work within available light — window light, open shade, golden hour sun. The result is warmth, depth and naturalness that artificial lighting rarely matches.
I move through events with a photojournalist's eye, prioritising the real moment over the constructed pose. The best photographs happen when people forget I'm there.
I give natural, simple prompts rather than barked instructions: 'walk slowly', 'whisper something', 'look at each other'. The direction produces natural movement, not a frozen pose.
My editing is warm, clean and restrained. No heavy presets, no dated colour grading. Photographs that look beautiful now and will look equally beautiful in thirty years.
I notice and photograph the details that are too easily forgotten — the ring on the bedside table, the hand-written place card, the light on the back of a child's neck.
I don't apply a formula. Every wedding, session or family has its own rhythm and its own beautiful details. My style adapts to your story, not the other way around.
