Brighton and Hove have some of the finest Regency and Victorian domestic architecture in England. The tall sash windows of Regency terraces in Hove and Kemp Town produce beautiful soft light throughout the day; the wide bay windows of Victorian streets in Fiveways and Preston Park capture morning or afternoon light directionally with wonderful results; the East Sussex countryside around Lewes and Ditchling offers a more rural setting with its own distinctive space and quiet.
I come to your home within the first two weeks of your baby's life. Two to three unhurried hours with natural light. Feeds, sleeps, the way you hold your baby, sibling introductions — the actual texture of your first days documented in the place where they happened. Photographs your family will keep forever.

When should I book a newborn session in Brighton?+
During pregnancy is ideal, to hold a date around your due date. Lifestyle newborn sessions are best in the first 5–14 days when babies sleep deeply and naturally. I hold a provisional date and confirm once your baby has arrived safely.
Do you travel to Hove, Lewes, Worthing, Shoreham, and surrounding areas?+
Yes — I cover Brighton and Hove and a wide stretch of East and West Sussex including Lewes, Worthing, Shoreham-by-Sea, Eastbourne, and the East Sussex countryside. Travel within 25 miles of Brighton is included in the session fee.
What makes Brighton and Hove homes good for newborn photography?+
Brighton and Hove have some of the most beautiful Regency and Victorian domestic architecture in England. The large sash windows of Regency terraces in Hove and Kemp Town flood rooms with extraordinary light. Victorian and Edwardian properties in Preston Park and the Seven Dials area have characteristic bay windows. The 1930s semis of Patcham and north Brighton have more open-plan living rooms that also photograph very well.
Are siblings included in newborn sessions?+
Yes, always. Sibling portraits are among the most requested and most treasured from any newborn session, and they are always included without additional charge. I'm patient and experienced working with young children during these sessions.
How are the images delivered?+
Via private online gallery within 5–14 days of your session. High-resolution print files and web-sized files are both included. Download, share, and print directly from the gallery.
