Lifestyle newborn photography in your Wiltshire home — the first days, in natural light, as they actually were.
Wiltshire Newborn Photography
Wiltshire — home to Stonehenge, Salisbury Cathedral, and the Marlborough Downs — has a quiet, ancient quality that gives in-home newborn photography here a particular atmosphere. From the medieval close of Salisbury to the market towns of Chippenham and Marlborough, and the villages scattered across the chalk downlands, Wiltshire homes have character and distinctive light.
Lifestyle newborn photography captures the first two weeks of your baby's life at home — no props, no studio, just natural light and your actual family in those first precious days.
The Approach
Wiltshire's quiet, beautiful light
Wiltshire sits between the chalk downlands of Salisbury Plain and the Cotswold fringe — its towns and villages range from the medieval cathedral city of Salisbury, with its tall Georgian and Victorian townhouses, to the market towns of Chippenham and Marlborough with their characterful high streets and side streets full of older domestic architecture excellent for natural light photography.
Documentary newborn photography
No props, no posing, no studio. These sessions capture what is actually happening in your home in the first 5–14 days: your baby sleeping, being held, being met by siblings, the gentle domestic scenes of the very beginning.
Plan from pregnancy
The ideal session window is 5–14 days after birth. Book a provisional date from around 20 weeks pregnant — we confirm once your baby arrives and remain flexible throughout.

I cover all of Wiltshire including Salisbury, Swindon, Chippenham, Trowbridge, Marlborough, Devizes, Melksham, Warminster, Amesbury, Calne, and the surrounding villages across the county.
Salisbury's Cathedral Close area has some of the most beautiful period domestic architecture in southern England — the tall Georgian and Jacobean houses around the Close have excellent tall-window natural light ideal for newborn sessions.
Yes — some of Wiltshire's most beautiful settings are in the villages: thatched cottages in the Vale of Pewsey, stone houses in the Cotswold fringe near Malmesbury, and the characterful properties near the chalk downlands.
I recommend booking from around 20 weeks pregnant to secure a provisional date. The session itself happens 5–14 days after birth — the earliest possible newborn window.
I'm based in Cambridge and travel to the south and south-west of England regularly. Wiltshire sessions are quoted with travel included.
