Bicester is North Oxfordshire's largest and fastest-growing town — known internationally for Bicester Village (the premium fashion outlet) but increasingly important as a residential and business centre for Oxford commuters and for the new Graven Hill urban development. The town sits at the heart of an area of outstanding portrait photography opportunity: Rousham House and its William Kent landscape garden (one of the most perfect historic gardens in England, only 8 miles from Bicester) is among the finest and least-photographed portrait settings in the south-east.
North Oxfordshire is excellent photography country: the Cherwell Valley, the Otmoor RSPB reserve (an ancient common with drove roads and flower-rich meadows), the limestone villages of Steeple Aston and Deddington, and the broader Blenheim Palace countryside within 20 miles. I photograph families, couples, weddings and individuals in Bicester and across Oxfordshire — Banbury, Chipping Norton, Oxford, Witney and the wider area. I travel across the south of England for weddings and portrait sessions throughout the year.
