Can we legally elope in Scotland?+
Yes — Scotland's marriage laws are more flexible than England's. Outdoor weddings on hillsides, beaches, and even in Glencoe are legally possible in Scotland with an authorised registrar or celebrant. I can help guide you through the options.
What time of year is best for Scotland elopements?+
Every season has magic. May–September offers the longest days and most reliable weather. October sees extraordinary golden light and autumn colour. Winter elopements with snow on the mountains are utterly breathtaking. Spring bluebell season in April is also remarkable.
