Styled shoots are collaborative, concept-led photography sessions involving multiple wedding industry suppliers — typically a photographer, a venue, a florist, a stationer, a cake designer, a dress boutique and models — working together to create a cohesive editorial set that none could produce independently. The resulting images are used by all participating suppliers for portfolio development, industry award submissions, publication pitches and brand marketing.
Yana Skakun Photography participates in styled shoots as lead photographer and, occasionally, as photo director — contributing creative direction, light planning and compositional vision in addition to the photography itself. The result is a cohesive editorial set that reflects a clear creative concept rather than a disconnected series of individual supplier showcase images.
