Choosing a wedding photography package shouldn't mean guessing what's actually included. My three UK-wide packages — Essential, Classic and Full Day — differ in hours of coverage and the number of fully retouched images, but every tier shares the same standard of editing, the same pre-wedding consultation, and the same delivery timeline. There is no watered-down version of the service at the entry-level tier.
The right package depends on the shape of your day: how many hours you genuinely need covered, whether preparation or reception matters more to you, and how many guests will be there. Essential (up to 4 hours, from £700) suits shorter, focused ceremonies. Classic (up to 8 hours, £1,180) is the package most couples choose, because it stretches to cover either preparation or reception alongside the ceremony. Full Day (up to 12 hours, £1,660) covers the entire arc of the wedding without compressing the schedule.
Every package can be extended with individual additional hours at £120 each, or with optional add-ons — a second photographer, an engagement session, a fine art album, or rush delivery — so the final package reflects your actual wedding rather than the closest pre-set bundle.

Hours of Coverage
Every package starts from a base of 4 hours, with Classic and Full Day extending that base in 4-hour blocks. Each additional hour beyond the package total is available separately at £120, so you can tailor coverage precisely to your ceremony start time, venue curfew, or reception length rather than paying for a fixed block that doesn't fit your day.
Fully Retouched Images
A defined number of images from each package — 30, 50 or 70 depending on tier — receive individual attention: colour correction, portrait retouching and skin retouching. The remainder of the day's coverage is delivered in colour correction, which keeps candid and documentary moments looking natural while the key portraits and formal shots get the fullest editing treatment.
Gallery Delivery
All three packages deliver via a secure cloud link with 6 months of access, so you can download full-resolution files at your own pace and share the link with family. Standard delivery is 5–6 weeks after the wedding; a 7-day rush gallery is available as a paid add-on for couples who need images sooner.
Pre-Wedding Consultation
Every package, including Essential, includes a consultation before the day itself — discussing timeline, must-have shots, family group lists, and how the coverage hours should be allocated across ceremony, portraits and reception so nothing important gets missed.
Travel Across the UK
Travel within 20 miles of Cambridge is included free. Beyond that, mileage is charged at a set rate, and for full-day weddings further afield — including Scotland, the Lake District and destination weddings — travel is usually built into the package quote rather than added as a surprise cost afterwards.
Optional Add-Ons
Packages can be extended with an engagement session, a second photographer, a fine art album, a USB of the full gallery at original resolution, or rush delivery — each priced separately so you only pay for what you actually want rather than a bundled extra baked into a higher tier.

Choose Essential for a Focused, Shorter Day
The Essential package suits registry office weddings, smaller ceremonies, and celebrations where the formal photography window is genuinely limited to 4 hours — covering the ceremony, the couple walk, and photos with guests without paying for hours you won't use.
Choose Classic for the Most Common Wedding Structure
Classic is the package most couples choose, because 8 hours realistically covers either bridal preparation through to the couple walk, or the ceremony through into the reception — the two most requested extensions beyond a bare-bones ceremony package.
Choose Full Day for Complete, Unhurried Coverage
Full Day coverage — up to 12 hours — captures the entire arc of the wedding from morning preparation through to evening reception moments, without needing to compress the schedule or choose which parts of the day go undocumented.
Add a Second Photographer for Large or Split-Location Weddings
For weddings with more than roughly 80 guests, or where the ceremony and reception happen at different venues, a second photographer captures simultaneous moments — the groom's reaction and the bride's entrance, or the ceremony and guest arrivals — that a single photographer physically cannot cover alone.
