The Best Beaches for Family Photography in South England

West Wittering, West Sussex. Among the finest sandy beaches on the south coast, West Wittering is accessible and properly sandy (rather than the shingle that characterises much of the Sussex coast). The dunes behind the beach create photogenic foreground and a degree of shelter. Early morning or evening sessions here produce beautiful warm light over the water.

Camber Sands, East Sussex. The large dune system at Camber, behind the long beach, is one of the most dramatically photogenic coastal elements in South East England. Studland Beach, Dorset.
