Grantchester is about 2 miles from central Cambridge. You can reach it several ways:

• ◆Walking via the meadow path: A beautiful 40-minute walk through the meadows from Newnham, following the river. Spectacular in summer.
• ◆Cycling: About 15 minutes by bicycle from central Cambridge via the Grantchester road.
• ◆Driving: About 10 minutes by car. There is limited parking at the village — the Orchard Tea Room has a small car park.
