Bath
Relaxed, unposed couples portraits in Bath — the Royal Crescent, Pulteney Bridge, Prior Park, the Bath Skyline, and the Kennet and Avon Canal.
Engagement sessions
Bath is one of England's most beautiful settings for an engagement session — the Crescent, the Circus, and the river all make extraordinary save-the-date photographs.
Anniversary portraits
Your 1st, 5th, 10th — any anniversary worth celebrating deserves photographs that are genuinely beautiful. Bath only gets better with time.
Just because
You don't need a reason. Most couples have very few photographs of themselves together that they actually love.
Valentine's Day gift
Give or receive a couples session in one of England's most romantic cities as a genuinely memorable gift.
One fee covers the session, all editing, and your full image gallery — no hidden extras. A travel supplement of £65 applies for Bath.

Every session includes
Royal Crescent & The Circus
John Wood's masterpiece of Georgian town planning — the sweeping honey-stone crescent and the circular Circus of 30 terraced townhouses. The most architecturally perfect backdrop in Bath, best in early morning before the tourist coaches arrive.
Pulteney Bridge & the Weir
One of only four bridges in the world with shops built across its full span — the Palladian bridge photographed from the weir below, or the riverside walk of the Great Pulteney Street perspective from the bridge itself.
Prior Park Landscape Garden
The National Trust garden on the hillside above Bath — a Palladian bridge over a lake, woodland walks, and a panoramic view of Bath in the valley below. One of the most beautiful garden compositions in England.
Sydney Gardens & Holburne Museum
Bath's largest public garden with the Holburne Museum at its eastern entrance — canal bridges, iron rotundas, and a gentle formality that photographs with effortless elegance.
Bath Skyline Walk
The National Trust walking route across the hills above Bath — the city laid out below in the Avon valley, with views that encompass the Mendips and the Wiltshire Downs. Spectacular at sunset.
Bathampton & the Kennet and Avon Canal
The towpath east of Bath — narrowboats, the stone lock cottages, and the river meadows leading to the village of Bathampton with its stone-built pub beside the water.
Do you travel to Bath for couples sessions?
Yes — Bath is well within my travel range. A travel supplement of £65 applies for sessions in the city and surrounding Somerset and Wiltshire countryside. Sessions are typically booked with 3–4 weeks' notice.
We feel awkward in front of a camera — will that show?
Almost every couple says this. And almost every couple is surprised by their photographs. I work through movement and activity prompts — walking, looking at something, a small specific action — rather than asking you to pose. The result is natural images of real moments.
What's the best time of year for a couples session in Bath?
Bath is beautiful in every season — but spring blossoms in the gardens, long summer evenings on the Skyline Walk, and the warm-toned autumn light on the honey stone are all particularly special. Even winter fog in the Bath valleys has a romantic atmosphere that photographs wonderfully.
Can we include Prior Park — does it need advance booking?
Prior Park is National Trust — an admission fee applies and it's busy on weekends. For portrait sessions there, early weekday mornings work best. I'll advise on timing and access for whichever locations you choose.
How long is the session?
Standard couples sessions are 75–90 minutes — enough time to visit 1–2 locations in Bath, settle into the shoot, and come away with a wide variety of images without feeling rushed.
