Bristol
Relaxed, unposed couples portraits across Bristol's most beautiful locations — the Clifton Gorge, Harbourside, Leigh Woods, and the Georgian heights of Clifton Village.

Celebrate your engagement with a relaxed session — perfect for save-the-dates, wedding websites, and simply capturing the moment.
Anniversary portraits
Your 1st, 5th, 10th — any anniversary worth celebrating is worth photographing. Often these become an annual tradition.
Just because
You don't need a reason. Most couples have very few photographs of themselves together that they actually love.
Valentine's Day gift
Give or receive a couples session as the most personally meaningful gift of the year.
One fee covers the session, all editing, and your full image gallery — no hidden extras. A travel supplement of £65 applies for Bristol.

Every session includes
Clifton Suspension Bridge & Gorge
Brunel's iconic bridge spanning the Avon Gorge — dramatic engineering in a landscape of wooded cliffs. The toll-road lookout and the clifftop meadows above give superb elevated compositions.
Harbourside & Wapping Wharf
Bristol's floating harbour with the SS Great Britain, coloured terraces above, and the evening reflections that make Harbourside one of the finest golden-hour locations in the West Country.
Leigh Woods
Ancient oak and ash woodland on the Somerset side of the Avon Gorge — dappled morning light, wildflower glades in spring, deep copper colour in autumn.
Clifton Village
Georgian terraces, independent shops, and the Clifton Down — one of Bristol's most photographed neighbourhoods, with an elegance entirely its own.
Brandon Hill & Cabot Tower
The Cabot Tower and Brandon Hill park give panoramic views across Bristol and Clifton — perfect for wide landscape-couple compositions at golden hour.
Bedminster & Tobacco Factory Quarter
The colourful streets of Bedminster, the street art corridors, and the converted industrial spaces — a very different Bristol from the Georgian heights of Clifton.
Do you travel to Bristol for couples sessions?
Yes — Bristol is fully within my travel range. A travel supplement of £65 applies for sessions in the city. Sessions are typically booked with 3–4 weeks' notice to allow for proper location planning.
We feel awkward in front of a camera — will it show?
Almost every couple says this. And almost every couple is surprised by their photographs. I work through movement and activity prompts — walking together, looking at something, a specific small task — rather than asking you to pose. The result is natural images of real moments.
What's the best time of year for a Bristol couples session?
Spring is spectacular at Leigh Woods with bluebells in May. Summer evenings at Harbourside have long, golden light that reflects beautifully in the water. Autumn gives rich colour in the gorge. Clifton photographs beautifully at almost any time of year.
How long is the session?
Standard couples sessions are 75–90 minutes — enough time to visit 1–2 locations, settle into the shoot, and come away with a wide variety of images without feeling rushed.
Can we shoot at our Bristol wedding venue beforehand?
Absolutely — a pre-wedding couples session at your venue is one of the most valuable things we can do together. It gives both of us an understanding of the light and space before the wedding day. I actively encourage it.
