Stowe Gardens
Stowe National Trust garden is one of England's great landscape gardens — 18th-century English landscape design at its most ambitious, with temples, lakes, and woodland forming a setting of poised, classical beauty. The gardens are particularly beautiful in early morning light and at autumn colour.
Burnham Beeches
Burnham Beeches is one of England's most distinctive ancient woodlands — ancient pollarded beech trees of extraordinary sculptural character, managed for six centuries to create a landscape that resembles nothing else in the Home Counties.
