Family Photography in Cornwall
Cornwall offers a unique backdrop for family photography — turquoise water lapping at pale sand coves, dramatic Atlantic cliff walks, ancient sub-tropical gardens, and woodland valleys that feel like another world. It's a county that brings out the adventurer in every family, and I document all of it in a completely relaxed, natural way.
I photograph Cornwall families on holiday and residents year-round. Whether you want a golden-hour beach session at Kynance Cove, a garden portrait session at Trelissick, or an adventurous clifftop walk with views to the Lizard Peninsula, I'll work with your family's natural energy rather than against it.
Holiday session enquiries are always welcome — many families visit Cornwall each summer and want lasting memories beyond snapshots.

Locations
Cornwall's most photographed cove — turquoise water, serpentine rock stacks, and golden sand at low tide.
White sand beach with the dramatic Greek-style open-air theatre carved into the clifftop above.
National Trust garden on a wooded peninsula above the Fal estuary — colourful and serene.
A sub-tropical ravine garden running to a private beach on the Helford River — beautiful for young families.
A quieter stretch of south Cornish coast with views of the Roseland Peninsula.
Ancient mixed woodland with stream-side paths — perfect for adventurous children and dappled-light portraits.
Yes — I travel from Cambridgeshire to Cornwall. Accommodation is included in pricing for sessions requiring an overnight stay, or can be quoted separately on enquiry.
Spring (May–June) and early autumn (September) are my favourites — the light is warm, the beaches are less crowded, and the wildflowers and heather add natural colour. Summer sunset sessions work beautifully on the Atlantic-facing coasts.
Absolutely — beach sessions are among my favourites in Cornwall. I recommend arriving around golden hour (1–2 hours before sunset) for the warmest, most flattering light on the sand and water.
All age groups are welcome. I work at a completely child-led pace — no sitting still, no posing. The best Cornish family images come from exploration and play, not staged arrangements.
Your private gallery of fully edited images will be ready within 10 business days, with full-resolution downloads included.
