Where do most Surrey family sessions take place?+
Richmond Park and Box Hill are the most popular — both offer space, varied backdrops, and beautiful light. I'm happy to work at any Surrey park or countryside location, and will help you find the best spots and timing for the light.
What's the best time of year for family photos in Surrey?+
Late spring (May–June) and early autumn (September–October) are the most popular for their warm colours and comfortable temperatures. Bluebells in April–May are particularly magical in Surrey's woodlands. I photograph year-round.
How long does a Surrey family session last?+
Mini sessions: 30–40 minutes. Standard: 60–75 minutes. Extended: 90+ minutes. For families with young children I recommend at least 60 minutes — it gives time to warm up and capture natural moments rather than rushing.
Do you travel across Surrey for family sessions?+
Yes — I cover all of Surrey, from Guildford and Farnham in the west to Reigate and Redhill in the east. Travel within 30 miles of Cambridge is included; for Surrey I'll share a transparent mileage rate at enquiry.
