Kelvingrove Park · Pollok Country Park · Botanic Gardens · Victoria Park
Glasgow has some of the finest park settings for maternity photography in Scotland. Kelvingrove Park, with its grand Victorian museum and the River Kelvin flowing through ancient oaks, combines architectural character with natural warmth. Across the city, Pollok Country Park offers 146 hectares of woodland and formal estate, free-roaming Highland cattle, and the extraordinary Burrell Collection building as a refined backdrop.
I photograph naturally and without direction — allowing the landscape and light to surround each session organically. Pregnancy is a brief, extraordinary time, and these images should feel genuinely joyful rather than posed, capturing something real rather than something staged.

The ideal booking window is 28–34 weeks of pregnancy — the bump is beautifully rounded but you're still comfortable and energetic. For outdoor sessions in Glasgow, I recommend late spring (May–June) for blossom in Kelvingrove and the Botanic Gardens, and early autumn (August–September) for the warmest light in Pollok Country Park.
Kelvingrove Park is the most versatile Glasgow location — the Edwardian red sandstone museum building gives an architectural anchor, while the park itself gives open meadow, tree-lined paths, and riverside spaces. For something greener, Pollok Country Park has the most beautiful natural setting: ancient oak woodland, a herd of free-roaming Highland cattle, and the Burrell Collection courtyard.
Yes — partner portraits are included in every session. Some of the most meaningful maternity images are those that capture the couple together, and I always make space for these during the session.
Yes — I cover Glasgow and the surrounding area including the East End, South Side, Paisley, Motherwell, Hamilton, and Airdrie. Travel within 20 miles of the city centre is included.
