Roundhay Park · Temple Newsam · Kirkstall Abbey · Golden Acre
Leeds has exceptional locations for maternity photography. Roundhay Park — one of the largest urban parks in Europe — offers open lawns, a lake, formal gardens, and ancient woodland all within a single estate. Temple Newsam's Tudor-Jacobean mansion looks out over 1,500 acres of parkland and woodland walks. And Kirkstall Abbey ruins — by the River Aire in west Leeds — give one of the most atmospheric maternity settings in the north of England: ancient limestone arches opening onto wide meadows.
My approach is relaxed and unhurried — I work with gentle movement and natural connection, paying close attention to the evening light. Sessions at 28–34 weeks give the best results, and I travel regularly for Leeds maternity photography.

Between 28–34 weeks is the sweet spot — your bump is beautifully visible and you're still comfortable walking across Roundhay's Gorilla Lawn or through Kirkstall's abbey grounds. Book from around 20 weeks to secure your preferred date and time.
Roundhay Park is one of the largest urban parks in Europe — the Gorilla Lawn gives wide open sky, the lake provides reflections and soft water light, and the formal gardens and woodlands all offer entirely different qualities of backdrop within walking distance.
Yes — Kirkstall Abbey ruins are one of the most atmospheric maternity photography settings in the north of England. The open meadow and ruined nave give a distinctive combination of scale and history.
Yes — I cover all of West Yorkshire including Harrogate, Bradford, Wakefield, Halifax, and Huddersfield. Travel across the county is included in the session price.
