How many images do I need for a modelling portfolio?
For agency submission, most scouts want to see 10–15 strong, varied images rather than a large quantity of similar shots. Quality and range matter far more than volume. A well-executed test shoot of 20 images contains the 10 you need.
What should I bring to a model portfolio session in Cambridge?
Bring 3–4 outfit options in solid colours (avoid heavy patterns), minimal daily-wear makeup (we will build from natural), clean nails, and any specific agency requirements your desired agency has specified. I will provide full guidance notes in advance.
I am totally new to modelling — is this suitable for beginners?
Yes — most of my model portfolio clients are beginners or people transitioning from amateur to professional modelling. I direct throughout the session, so no posing experience is needed. The Portfolio Build package specifically includes agency-submission guidance.
Can these photographs be used for agency submissions?
Yes — all images are delivered in full resolution suitable for agency submissions, and in web formats for digital portfolio sites. I can advise on the specific image requirements for major UK modelling agencies.
Do you photograph model portfolios for all ages and sizes?
Yes — the modelling industry encompasses commercial, mature, plus-size, petite, hands, fitness and many other categories. I photograph model portfolios for all adults across all of these categories.
