Blackpool and the Fylde Coast form a distinctive stretch of Lancashire — seafront flats with south-facing windows, 1930s semi-detached estates in Bispham and Marton, and the softer Edwardian architecture of Lytham St Annes. These homes, with their varied light and character, are the ideal backdrop for newborn photography that records life as it actually was.
I come to your Blackpool home within the first two weeks of your baby's life. Two to three hours, natural light, no equipment beyond my camera. Feeds, sleeps, cuddles, and the particular quietness of the first days — photographs families keep for generations.

When should I book a newborn session in Blackpool?+
Book during pregnancy to secure a date in your due-date window. Newborn lifestyle sessions work best between 5 and 14 days after birth when babies are naturally sleepy and settle well. I hold provisional dates and confirm once your baby has arrived.
Do you travel to Lytham, Cleveleys, Fleetwood, and Preston?+
Yes — I cover Blackpool and the whole of the Fylde Coast including Lytham St Annes, Cleveleys, Fleetwood, Poulton-le-Fylde, and into Preston and the wider Lancashire area. Travel within 25 miles of Blackpool is included in the session fee.
What makes Blackpool homes good for newborn photography?+
Blackpool and the Fylde Coast have varied domestic architecture. The interwar semi-detached estates common in south Blackpool and Bispham often have large bay windows and light front rooms. Victorian terraces in Layton and Bloomfield have tall sash windows that cast long directional light through the day. In Lytham St Annes the Edwardian seafront villas and larger family homes feature wide bedroom and living spaces. I work with the natural light in any home.
Are siblings and family portraits included?+
Yes — always. Sibling portraits are among the most requested and most treasured images from any newborn session. I photograph the whole family naturally throughout the session.
What format are the images delivered in?+
Via private online gallery within 5–14 days. Both high-resolution print files and web files are included. You can download, share, and print directly from the gallery.
