When is the best time to book a newborn session?+
The ideal window for newborn photography is between 5 and 14 days after birth. I recommend booking during pregnancy — I hold your session date provisionally and confirm when your baby arrives. Most bookings are made in the second or third trimester.
Do you travel across Cambridgeshire for newborn sessions?+
Yes. I travel across the whole of Cambridgeshire for home lifestyle sessions. There is no travel surcharge within Cambridgeshire — from Cambridge to Peterborough, Ely to St Ives.
What is a home lifestyle newborn session?+
A documentary-style session photographed in your own home — baby in your bed, on the sofa, in the nursery, held by parents and siblings. The images are warm, natural, and deeply personal. No props required.
What if my baby is unsettled during the session?+
All my newborn sessions are led entirely by the baby. We move slowly, feed when needed, and take no timelines. The session ends when we have everything we need — not at a fixed time.
How many images do we receive?+
The Newborn Session includes 30 images; Newborn + Family includes 50; the Home Lifestyle package includes 75. All are fully retouched and delivered via a private online gallery within 7 days.
