Booking around 28–32 weeks of pregnancy is ideal. I hold your dates provisionally and confirm once your baby arrives. The newborn window — the first two weeks of life — is when babies sleep most soundly and look most 'newborn'. Luton and south Bedfordshire are popular family areas, so early booking is particularly important in spring and early autumn.

In almost all cases, yes. Victorian terraces in Bury Park and High Town have excellent north-facing light through original sash windows. Inter-war semis in Stopsley and Limbury often have generous bay windows. Modern housing across Lewsey, Sundon Park, and Bramingham also works well when positioned to catch natural light. I arrive without a studio setup — just a couple of bags of soft accessories.
