Your First Days at Home in Reading

I come to your home in the first two weeks after your baby arrives. Two to three unhurried hours with natural light and no equipment beyond my camera. The session documents what is actually there: your home, your baby, how you hold them, the light at that time of day. Photographs for a lifetime.

When should I book a newborn session in Reading?+
During pregnancy is ideal, to reserve a date around your due date. Lifestyle newborn sessions work best in the first 5–14 days when babies sleep deeply. I hold provisional dates and confirm when your baby has arrived safely.
Do you travel to Caversham, Henley, Wokingham, Basingstoke, and around Berkshire?+
Yes — I cover Reading and a wide area of Berkshire, Oxfordshire, and Hampshire including Caversham, Tilehurst, Henley-on-Thames, Wokingham, Windsor, Newbury, and Basingstoke. Travel within 25 miles of Reading town centre is included in the session fee.
What makes Reading homes good for newborn photography?+
Reading has a broad and varied domestic character. The Victorian and Edwardian semis of Caversham and Tilehurst have wide bay windows and high ceilings that collect wonderful soft light. Further out, the riverside villages of Sonning and Pangbourne have older brick and timber-framed cottages with a particular quality of light. Modern family homes in Wokingham and the surrounding towns typically have open-plan living spaces that photograph very well.
Are siblings included in newborn sessions?+
Yes, always. Sibling portraits are among the most requested from any newborn session, and they are always included without additional charge. I work patiently with children of all ages during these gentle sessions.
How are the images delivered?+
Via private online gallery within 5–14 days. High-resolution print files and web-sized files are both included. You can download, share, and print directly from the gallery.
