Natural In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Photography
I come to your home in Telford or anywhere across Shropshire. Lifestyle newborn photography in the real setting of where your family lives — no studio, no props, just your home and your light.
Telford's new-town housing from the 1960s–80s in Dawley, Stirchley, Hollinswood, and Brookside has wide windows and open aspects that suit lifestyle photography beautifully. Victorian Ironbridge cottages have characterful rooms with historic charm.
No studio, no travelling across town with a newborn. I come to your home and work with the light you have — your bedroom, nursery, or living room.
Siblings, partners, and anyone who was there for the first days — all welcome. These images capture the full story of who this baby was born into.

Booking
Booking at 28–32 weeks of pregnancy is ideal. The newborn window is the first two weeks of life — this is when babies are most deeply sleepy and the features (tiny curled fingers, the fold of a newborn ear) are freshest. I hold your booking provisionally and we confirm exact dates after your baby arrives.
Absolutely. Much of Telford's housing is new town stock from the 1960s–80s: house types with good-sized windows, open-plan ground floors, and reasonable ceiling heights that all work well for lifestyle photography with available light. Victorian Ironbridge terraces have the classic bay windows and high ceilings that photograph beautifully. I assess the light in your home when I arrive and we work in whichever rooms suit best.
I cover Telford and the surrounding area: Shrewsbury, Bridgnorth, Newport, Much Wenlock, Wellington, Shifnal, and the Shropshire Hills villages. I also cover the Staffordshire border, Wolverhampton, and Stafford. Travel within 25 miles of Telford is included.
Yes — sibling involvement is one of the most beautiful parts of a lifestyle newborn session. Older children who want to hold, inspect, or simply sit nearby the new baby create some of the most iconic images. Children who want to play in the background while the baby sleeps are equally fine. I work at the children's pace, not mine.
