Photographer Chatteris

Chatteris is a Fenland market town in the heart of Cambridgeshire, between Ely and March. Surrounded by the flat, open farmland of the Fens with their extraordinary wide skies and long, low horizons, it sits in a landscape that is uniquely photogenic — particularly in the golden light of late afternoon and the mist of autumn mornings. The town has a traditional market place, the 12th-century Church of St Peter and St Paul, and an easy, community-oriented character that makes for relaxed, natural portrait sessions.

I photograph families, couples, newborns and individuals across Chatteris and the surrounding Fenland towns — March, Doddington, Wimblington, Earith and Sutton. I also travel easily to Cambridge, Ely and the wider Cambridgeshire area for sessions and weddings. Sessions can be held in-home for newborn and baby photography, or outdoors in the Fenland countryside, along the riverbanks or in the town itself.
