Pride weddings are some of the most visually extraordinary and emotionally open events I have the privilege of photographing. They are typically smaller, more personal, more deliberately styled, and more unapologetically joyful than conventional weddings — and all of that makes for exceptional photographs.

I am a photographer who genuinely celebrates queer love and LGBTQ+ weddings. Not as an ally performing allyship, but as someone who believes that every couple deserves beautiful, honest, expert photography — and who loves the visual richness that Pride-inspired celebrations bring.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you photograph non-binary and gender-nonconforming couples?

Absolutely. I photograph every couple — including non-binary, genderqueer, gender-fluid, trans, and intersex individuals — with the same care and attention I bring to every commission. I ask about preferred pronouns in advance and use them throughout. I will never assume your identity, your role, or your visual aesthetic.

Can you incorporate Pride flags and rainbow elements tastefully into the photography?

Yes — I love working with colour and they make for genuinely beautiful photographs when handled with intention. Whether your Pride elements are subtle accessories or full rainbow décor, I know how to incorporate them as visual features rather than props, producing images that feel cohesive and intentional rather than costume-like.

We want an outdoor Pride ceremony — do you work outdoors?

Outdoor ceremonies are actually where I do some of my strongest work. Natural light, open space, and architectural or natural backdrops all produce rich, beautiful images. Cambridge has exceptional outdoor locations — gardens, riverbanks, meadows, and historic courtyards — and I know them all.

Do you attend Pride events or photograph Pride parades as part of wedding coverage?

If your wedding incorporates a Pride parade, Pride festival, or community celebration — yes, absolutely. I can extend coverage to include whatever elements form part of your day. Event crowds and parade photography are energetic and visually exciting commissions.

How do you handle posing for queer couples who don't want gendered pose dynamics?

My posing approach is movement-based rather than formula-based, which means it works the same for any couple. I direct through interaction, proximity, and natural motion — never through 'groom looks here, bride looks there' scripts. The result is always natural and never imposes a dynamic that isn't yours.
