The classic 'sleepy posed in a basket' newborn session window. Babies at this age are still curled (their bodies remember the womb position), they sleep deeply, and they can be safely posed in soft props. This window is non-negotiable for traditional posed work — by 15-18 days, most babies are uncurling and waking more frequently, and the posed look becomes impossible.
When to book: Book during pregnancy (around 28-32 weeks). I provisionally schedule a 2-week window around your due date and confirm exact date within 48 hours of birth.
