Wandlebury Country Park on the Gog Magog Hills is the primary autumn location — the beech and ash woodland paths have a canopy that at peak season is completely golden overhead. Hardwick Wood and Hayley Wood are also exceptional in October. All are within 20 minutes of Cambridge city centre.
