The Portrait You've Been Putting Off

When women commission professional portrait photography for themselves — not for a business, not for a LinkedIn profile, not as part of a family or couple session, but for themselves — something unusual and significant tends to happen. The photographs, when they see them, produce a response that goes well beyond the aesthetic satisfaction of liking an image. It is the same impulse that makes people keep diaries, make photo albums, mark time with intention.
