Birmingham
Natural, relaxed couples portraits in Birmingham — Cannon Hill Park, the canal network, Sutton Park, Bournville Village, and the Botanical Gardens.
Engagement sessions
A relaxed session at Cannon Hill or in the Jewellery Quarter gives you authentic, natural engagement portraits — perfect for save-the-dates, wedding websites, and sharing with family.
Anniversary portraits
Your anniversary is worth more than a dinner booking. Revisit a meaningful Birmingham location — the park where you walked, the canal where you talked — and have it photographed properly.
Just because
The majority of couples have very few photographs of themselves together that they genuinely love. A couples session is how you change that — no special occasion required.
Valentine's Day gift
A couples session is the most personal Valentine's gift you can give. Gift vouchers available. Give an experience, not an object.
One fee covers the session, all editing, and your full image gallery — no hidden extras. A travel supplement of £65 applies for Birmingham.

Every session includes
Cannon Hill Park
Birmingham's most loved park — 250 acres with a boating lake, formal gardens, the MAC arts centre, and the Nature Centre. Particularly beautiful in spring with the blossom and lake reflections.
Brindleyplace & Gas Street Basin
Birmingham's canal network is the most extensive in the UK. The regenerated Brindleyplace quarter and Gas Street Basin offer industrial-baroque architecture, narrow boats, and extraordinary blue-hour reflections.
Sutton Park National Nature Reserve
One of the largest urban nature reserves in Europe — heathland, birch woodland, ancient pools, and a genuinely open landscape just 15 minutes from the city centre.
Bournville Village
George Cadbury's model village — the Bournville Green, mature tree-lined avenues, and Arts and Crafts cottage architecture create a uniquely calm and elegant backdrop.
Birmingham Botanical Gardens
The walled rose garden, glasshouses, and formal lawns at Edgbaston — beautifully maintained and relatively off the beaten track as a photography location.
Jewellery Quarter & St Paul's Square
The Georgian St Paul's Square and the independent streets of the Jewellery Quarter offer a warm, characterful urban setting — brick, ironwork, and independent boutique frontages.
Do you travel to Birmingham for couples sessions?
Yes — Birmingham is one of my more frequent destinations. A travel supplement of £65 applies. I'd suggest booking 2–3 weeks in advance to give us time for location planning and a good weather window.
We feel awkward being photographed — is that going to be obvious?
Almost everyone says this, and almost no one still feels it after the first ten minutes. I use movement and activity prompts rather than poses — and the images come out looking natural and genuinely like you rather than like a formal portrait session.
What's the best season for a Birmingham couples session?
April and May bring blossom to Cannon Hill and Bournville and make both locations spectacular. Sutton Park is particularly beautiful in late summer and autumn. The canals at Brindleyplace work year-round — blue-hour light in winter can be exceptional.
Is Sutton Park really worth the journey for a couples session?
Yes — Sutton Park is extraordinary and very underused as a photography location. The heathland and pools in autumn light or early morning are unlike any urban park setting. For couples who want something genuinely different, it's one of the best options in the Midlands.
When will we get the photos?
Edited galleries are delivered within 7–10 days via a private online gallery. You'll receive full download access and print release included in the session fee.
