Glasgow
Natural, unposed couples portraits in Glasgow — Kelvingrove Park, the Botanic Gardens, Pollok Country Park, the Cathedral Quarter, and the option of Loch Lomond.
Engagement sessions
Glasgow is genuinely one of the UK's best cities for engagement portrait sessions — Kelvingrove, the Botanic Gardens, and the Cathedral Quarter give you extraordinary variety within a single city.
Anniversary portraits
Revisit a Glasgow location that means something to you — the park where you used to walk, the river where you walked after dinner — and have it photographed properly.
Just because
No occasion necessary. A couples session in Glasgow's riverside parks or up to the Necropolis gives you portraits you'll actually want to look at.
Scotland escape session
Loch Lomond is 30 minutes from the city. A half-day session combining Glasgow's urban character with Highland lochside is one of the most varied and dramatic options I can offer anywhere in the UK.
One fee covers the session, all editing, and your full image gallery — no hidden extras. A travel supplement of £110 applies for Glasgow.

Every session includes
Kelvingrove Park
The River Kelvin, the iconic red sandstone Art Gallery and Museum rising above the treeline, the bandstand, and ancient parkland trees — Glasgow's most beautiful park, and an extraordinary session setting.
Glasgow Botanic Gardens & Kibble Palace
The Victorian Kibble Palace glasshouse — one of the largest in Europe — and the formal walled garden and riverside woodland trails. Spectacular in any season and particularly atmospheric in low winter light.
Pollok Country Park
360 acres of managed country estate within the city — the Pollok House walled garden, the White Cart Water, and the forestry trails of the Burrell estate. Remarkably rural for a city park.
Glasgow Cathedral & Necropolis
The only intact medieval Scottish cathedral — its Gothic nave and nave aisle completely unruined — with the Victorian Necropolis rising on the hill behind. A combination of extraordinary architectural drama and genuinely wild hillside.
Finnieston & The Clyde
Glasgow's regenerating west end — the Finnieston Crane, the Riverside Museum (Zaha Hadid), and the Clyde walkway. For couples who want an urban, industrial-renaissance feel to their portraits.
Loch Lomond (day trip)
Thirty minutes from Glasgow city centre — the southern shore at Balloch, the wooded paths of Inchcailloch island, and the open Highland loch. An optional add-on for couples who want something genuinely dramatic.
Do you travel to Glasgow for couples sessions?
Yes — Glasgow is a regular destination. A travel supplement of £110 applies. Sessions should be booked with 3 weeks' notice. I'd also suggest building in a weather contingency — Glasgow weather rewards patience, and the dramatic cloudy skies there can add real atmosphere to portraits.
Can we add Loch Lomond to a Glasgow couples session?
Yes — a combined Glasgow and Loch Lomond session works well as a full day: a morning session in Kelvingrove or the Botanic Gardens, then a drive out to the loch for sunset. This would be priced as a full-day session rather than the standard couples session. Contact me to discuss the structure.
What's the best season for a couples session in Glasgow?
Late spring (May–June) is reliably beautiful — long Scottish evenings and the parks at their lush best. Autumn brings dramatic colour to Pollok and Kelvingrove. Winter in Glasgow — particularly the Botanic Gardens in frost — has a quality of light that photographers actively seek out.
Glasgow weather is unpredictable — what if it rains?
Scottish light after rain can be extraordinary — everything is clean, the colours saturate, and the atmosphere is cinematic. I'm experienced working in all weather conditions and come prepared. We can also reschedule if conditions are genuinely untenable.
When will we get the photos?
Edited galleries are delivered within 7–10 days via a private online gallery with full download access and print release included.
