Tips for a great session
- →Wear something you feel genuinely comfortable in — colour-coordinated with your partner, not perfectly matched
- →Arrive 10 minutes early so you're not rushing when we start
- →Bring a small bag for layers, shoes, or a prop you love — a blanket, flowers, a book
- →Forget the camera is there; talk to each other, move naturally — I'll capture the rest
Questions
Do you travel to London for couples sessions?
Yes — London couples sessions are available throughout the year. Travel from Cambridge is included in the Classic and Golden Hour packages. For Mini Sessions, a London travel supplement of £40 applies.
What time of day is best for London couples photos?
Golden hour — the hour before sunset — is the most beautiful light for outdoor portraits anywhere, including London. That said, overcast days are wonderful for couples sessions as the soft light is flattering and consistent. Morning sessions in parks before the crowds arrive are also excellent.
Can we choose our own London location?
Absolutely. If you have somewhere meaningful to you — where you had your first date, where you got engaged — that's always worth discussing. I'll advise on light and logistics but I love location suggestions that mean something.
We don't have an engagement — is a couples session still appropriate?
Completely. Most of my couples sessions have nothing to do with engagements. You don't need a reason to have beautiful photos of yourselves together.
How long after the session will we receive our photos?
7–10 working days for the online gallery. Priority delivery (3–4 days) is available as an add-on at £75.
