Huntingdon & the Ouse Valley
Natural family photography in Hinchingbrooke, by the Great Ouse, and across the Cambridgeshire countryside.
Family Sessions Near Huntingdon
Huntingdon sits in the middle of some of Cambridgeshire's loveliest outdoor photography locations — from the broad meadows along the Great Ouse to the wooded paths and open water of Hinchingbrooke Country Park. It's an area with genuine photographic variety across all seasons.
My family sessions are always relaxed and child-led. I'm not interested in stiff posed rows — I document how your family actually moves, laughs, and connects. The images you'll end up with are ones you'll want to print and look at in twenty years.

Hinchingbrooke Country Park is my top recommendation — varied backdrops, great light, and enough space for children to explore without getting bored. The Great Ouse meadows are also beautiful, especially in summer.
There's no travel supplement within 30 miles of my Cambridge base — Huntingdon is well within that radius. I'm also happy to travel further for an additional fee.
Each season offers something different. Spring brings fresh greens and bluebells; summer gives wildflowers and golden evenings; autumn is glorious in Hinchingbrooke with golden leaves; and winter offers a clean, minimal look. I shoot year-round.
Absolutely — dogs are part of the family. Hinchingbrooke Country Park and the riverside paths are all dog-friendly. Just let me know in advance and I'll factor in time for them to settle.
Wear colours that complement each other without being identical. Avoid very bright logos or clashing patterns. Bring any comforters for small children, and plan snacks for after the session. I send a full preparation guide once you book.
