When should I book a newborn photographer in Essex?+
Book around 20–28 weeks pregnant to hold a provisional slot. We confirm the session date once baby arrives — the ideal window is days 5 to 14 for the most settled, peaceful images.
Which Essex towns do you cover?+
I cover all of Essex including Chelmsford, Colchester, Brentwood, Harlow, Basildon, Southend-on-Sea, Saffron Walden, Braintree, and Witham. A small travel supplement may apply beyond 30 miles from base.
What does the session involve?+
I come to your home and use only the natural window light available. Sessions are completely baby-led — we follow your baby's rhythm, pausing for feeds, settling, and naps. There's no rush and no set schedule.
How many edited images will I receive?+
The Newborn Home Session includes 35–50 fully edited images, the Sibling package 50–70, and the Maternity + Newborn package 80+ across both sessions. All delivered via private online gallery within 10 days.
Can my toddler join the session?+
Absolutely — in fact, the Newborn + Sibling package is one of the most popular for families with young children. I'll give the older sibling time to warm up naturally before including them with baby.
