Natural In-Home Lifestyle Newborn Photography
Lincoln sits on a scarp of limestone above the Lincolnshire plain — the cathedral city on the hill, ringed by Victorian and Edwardian suburbs that spread out across the flatter ground below. The streets of Boultham and West End to the south-west, the Edwardian semis of Bracebridge, and the solid terrace housing of Monks Road and Eastgate all have homes with high ceilings, generous bay windows, and the broad, even light that comes from Lincolnshire's open skies and flat agricultural horizon.
In-home newborn photography in Lincoln works with this light — and with your particular home. Whether you live in a Victorian terrace by the cathedral, a modern estate house in North Hykeham, or a rural property in the Lincolnshire Wolds, the approach is the same: real family moments, real natural light, no studio props or artificial arrangements.
Lincoln has a generous stock of Victorian and Edwardian terrace housing — Boultham and West End to the south-west of the city, Bracebridge and Skellingthorpe Road to the south. These streets have tall ceilings, bay windows, and the particular quality of Lincolnshire light that comes through open east-facing farmland on one horizon.
I photograph what is genuinely happening in your home on the day — feeds, settles, skin-to-skin, the way a newborn curls against a parent's shoulder. Nothing staged, nothing arranged. Just the real texture of your first days together.
Siblings, partners, grandparents visiting on the day — all welcome and all part of the story. The chaos and warmth of a growing family is some of the most photographically rich material there is.

I cover Lincoln city and the wider Lincolnshire area — Grantham, Sleaford, Newark-on-Trent, Gainsborough, Stamford, Market Rasen, Horncastle, Boston, and Spalding. Travel within 20 miles of Lincoln is included in standard session fees.
Booking during your second trimester (around 20–25 weeks) gives you the best chance of securing a date in the first two weeks after birth — the most photographically rich period when babies are still sleepy and curled. I'm flexible up to around six weeks old.
Warm the house slightly — newborns settle much more easily when comfortable. Have milk or formula ready. You do not need to tidy, buy props, or prepare matching outfits unless you want them. I work with your home exactly as it is.
At least 40 professionally edited images delivered to a private online gallery with high-resolution downloads and full print rights. Most sessions result in 50–70 images. There are no packages to upgrade or images held back for purchase.
