Southampton sits at the meeting of the Test and Itchen rivers, and the city's suburbs stretch into some of the most varied domestic Hampshire landscape: Victorian and Edwardian terraces in Shirley and Bitterne with their characteristic bay windows; the more substantial Edwardian houses of Bassett and Chilworth Avenue; the older brick and flint villages of Romsey and the Test Valley; newer family homes on the New Forest edge at Totton and Marchwood. All offer something beautiful for natural-light photography.
I come to your home within two weeks of your baby's birth. Two to three gentle hours, natural light, no equipment beyond my camera. Feeds, sleeps, siblings, the way you hold your baby in the rooms you actually live in — documented honestly, in the place where your family's story begins.

Yes — I cover Southampton and a wide area of Hampshire including Winchester, Eastleigh, Romsey, Totton, Fareham, and into the New Forest edge. Travel within 25 miles of Southampton is included in the session fee.

Southampton has a varied domestic character. The Victorian and Edwardian suburbs of Shirley, Bitterne, and Bassett have wide bay windows and high ceilings with exactly the soft directional light that works beautifully for newborn photography. The villages of Romsey and the Test Valley have older brick and flint cottages. Families on the New Forest edge at Totton or Marchwood typically have spacious modern homes with excellent light.
Are siblings and family portraits part of the session?+
Yes, always. Sibling portraits — meeting the baby, a quiet moment together — are among the most treasured images from any newborn session. They are always included without additional charge.
