Photographer Long Melford

Long Melford is one of the most celebrated villages in England — not for its size (it is a large village rather than a town) but for the extraordinary concentration of architectural and historical beauty compressed into just one long main street. At one end, the great flint parish church of Holy Trinity — of cathedral proportions, with its original medieval glass and the beautiful Clopton Chapel — and at the other, the moated Tudor mansion of Kentwell Hall. Between them stretches one of England's longest and most handsome village greens, the National Trust property of Melford Hall, the ancient Bull Hotel and a remarkable sequence of antique shops and galleries.

For wedding photographers, Kentwell Hall is one of the finest Tudor venue settings in England — the long lime-tree avenue approach, the moat crossing, the mellow red brick and the extraordinary garden room and Great Hall. I photograph weddings, families, couples and individuals in Long Melford and across south Suffolk — Lavenham, Clare, Sudbury, Bury St Edmunds and the beautiful Suffolk countryside. I travel across the east of England for weddings and portrait sessions throughout the year.
