Creative photography in one of London's most exciting neighbourhoods — weddings, family sessions, portraits and events across Peckham, Rye Park and beyond.
South East London Photography
Peckham has undergone one of the most remarkable creative transformations of any London neighbourhood over the past two decades. What was once primarily known for its market and Rye Lane has evolved into a genuine hub of independent galleries, music venues, restaurants, rooftop bars and artist studios — while retaining the cultural richness and community identity that makes it one of the most authentic parts of South East London. For photography, Peckham is extraordinary: from the Victorian Gothic of Nunhead Cemetery to the panoramic concrete terraces of the Multi-Storey Car Park, from the formal gardens of Peckham Rye to the graphic industrial architecture of Copeland Road.
I photograph across Peckham for all types of photography. Wedding coverage at the Bussey Building or Bold Tendencies rooftop. Family sessions in Peckham Rye Park. Editorial portraits using the area's vivid street texture. Engagement sessions at sunset from the Multi-Storey Car Park with the London skyline behind you. My approach is documentary and natural — I work with the real light and real character of the places and people I photograph.
I cover Peckham, East Dulwich, Camberwell, New Cross, Nunhead, Forest Hill, Brockley, Lewisham and all of South East London. I also travel widely — most of my South London clients find me through London searches, but I photograph weddings and portrait sessions throughout England and abroad.
What I Offer
Documentary wedding photography for creative Peckham couples — intimate ceremonies, rooftop receptions at Frank's Bar, industrial venues at the Bussey Building and Peckham Springs. Characterful, real storytelling.
Natural family sessions in Peckham Rye Park — the park's formal garden, lake and wide meadows offer a beautiful, relaxed setting for photographing families of all ages and sizes without stiff poses.
Individual and couples portraits using Peckham's remarkable visual richness — rooftop terraces, converted warehouses, the Victorian grandeur of Nunhead Cemetery, and Peckham Rye Common all create memorable portrait settings.
Coverage for Peckham's arts openings, brand events, cultural gatherings and South East London launches — energetic, authentic photography delivered quickly for press and social media.
Locations
Peckham's beloved green space — 113 acres combining a formal garden with lake, arboretum and flower dell alongside the wide open sweep of Peckham Rye Common. Ideal for family, engagement and maternity sessions throughout the year.
The legendary rooftop bar of Peckham's Multi-Storey Car Park is one of London's most Instagrammed locations — its concrete levels, neon lights and 360° London skyline views make it iconic for engagement shoots and editorial portraits.
Peckham's creative hub — the seven-storey Victorian cricket bat factory converted into studios, galleries, bars and music venues. The exterior brickwork and graphic fire escapes create characterful industrial portrait backdrops.
One of London's Magnificent Seven Victorian cemeteries — 52 acres of atmospheric woodland with overgrown Victorian monuments, mature trees and wild flowers. A strikingly beautiful and unusual backdrop for editorial portraits and engagement sessions.
The vibrant commercial heart of Peckham — colourful shopfronts, market stalls, fabric stores and food vendors create an authentically South London urban scene with rich visual texture for documentary and lifestyle photography.
Immediately south of Peckham, Telegraph Hill Park offers panoramic views over London with Victorian terraced streets below. East Dulwich's boutique-lined Lordship Lane and Dulwich Park provide calmer, leafier portrait settings.
