Leicester & Leicestershire
Natural portraits at Bradgate Park, Victoria Park, Abbey Park, and across Leicestershire.
Portrait Photography in Leicester
Leicester sits at the edge of some of England's most characterful parkland. Bradgate Park — 850 acres of ancient countryside in Charnwood Forest with roaming deer, old-growth oak, and the evocative ruins of Lady Jane Grey's birthplace — is one of the finest portrait locations in the Midlands. Victoria Park's civic avenues and Abbey Park's riverside ruins offer an entirely different, more intimate quality close to the city centre.
My approach to Leicester portrait sessions is unhurried and natural — working with the landscape and available light to create images that feel like a true record of who you are, in a place that matters.

I photograph across Leicester and Leicestershire — most often at Bradgate Park (ancient parkland, deer park, and the ruins of Lady Jane Grey's birthplace), Victoria Park, and Abbey Park. For those wanting genuine countryside, Charnwood Forest and the meadows around Watermead Country Park are excellent.
For Leicester portraits, booking 2–4 weeks in advance is ideal for weekdays; 4–6 weeks for weekend sessions. Spring and autumn book up fastest.
Yes — I photograph across all of Leicestershire including Loughborough, Hinckley, Market Harborough, Melton Mowbray, and Oakham in Rutland. Travel throughout the county is included.
Wear what feels authentically you. Neutral, earth tones, and solid colours tend to photograph best against Bradgate's ancient landscape and Victoria Park's green. I'll send a preparation guide after booking.
