Nottingham is surrounded by some of the East Midlands' most dramatic estate parkland. Wollaton Hall — an Elizabethan mansion in a 500-acre deer park that holds a population of free-roaming fallow and red deer — is one of the most cinematic maternity photography settings in England. Newstead Abbey, Byron's ancestral home twenty minutes north of the city, has romantic walled gardens and lakeside grounds that give bump portraits a literary and historical atmosphere never found in an urban park.
I photograph across Nottingham and Nottinghamshire with a completely natural approach — relaxed sessions that attend to the light and the landscape to create images that feel genuinely rooted in this part of the world. Best booked at 28–34 weeks.

28–34 weeks is the ideal window. Wollaton Park's open deer park and Newstead Abbey's walled gardens are both beautiful from spring through to late autumn, and the golden hour light in September and October on the Nottinghamshire parklands is exceptional.
Wollaton Hall — an Elizabethan mansion set in a 500-acre deer park that doubled as Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight Rises — gives maternity photographs a cinematic drama. The deer graze freely and the hall silhouetted against a golden sunset creates unforgettable images.
Yes — Newstead Abbey (Byron's ancestral home) and its romantic walled and Japanese gardens give a distinctive quality to bump photography. The rose garden in June is particularly special.
Yes — I cover all of Nottinghamshire including Mansfield, Worksop, Newark-on-Trent, Retford, and Southwell. I also photograph at Clumber Park in and around the Dukeries.
