When is the best time for a Nottingham maternity session?
28–34 weeks is the ideal window. Wollaton Park's open deer park and Newstead Abbey's walled gardens are both beautiful from spring through to late autumn, and the golden hour light in September and October on the Nottinghamshire parklands is exceptional.
What makes Wollaton Hall special for bump photography?
Wollaton Hall — an Elizabethan mansion set in a 500-acre deer park that doubled as Wayne Manor in The Dark Knight Rises — gives maternity photographs a cinematic drama. The deer graze freely and the hall silhouetted against a golden sunset creates unforgettable images.
Can we photograph at Newstead Abbey?
Yes — Newstead Abbey (Byron's ancestral home) and its romantic walled and Japanese gardens give a distinctive quality to bump photography. The rose garden in June is particularly special.
