Peterborough and the Nene Valley have a quietly remarkable landscape for maternity photography — wide open Fenland skies, mature lakeside meadows at Ferry Meadows, and the extraordinary Burghley House deer park at Stamford. The Nene's floodplain meadows, with their distinctive willow-lined banks and wide horizons, give a rare, uncluttered backdrop for natural outdoor bump portraits.
I offer relaxed outdoor maternity sessions across Peterborough and the surrounding area — natural connection portraits in the evenng light, with partner and sibling portraits warmly welcomed. Peterborough is just 40 minutes from my Cambridge base, and travel to all sessions in the area is included.

Between 28–34 weeks is ideal — the bump is beautifully present and movement is still comfortable across Peterborough's parks, river meadows, and Fenland landscapes. Spring wildflowers in the Nene Valley and autumn golden light at Burghley House are both stunning.
Peterborough sits at the edge of the Fens with the limestone uplands of Northamptonshire to the west. Ferry Meadows Country Park has 500 acres of meadow, woodland, and lakes right on the edge of the city. Burghley House near Stamford — one of England's greatest Elizabethan houses — gives a grandly atmospheric rural backdrop. The Nene Valley riverbanks also give exceptionally peaceful, open-sky maternity settings.
Peterborough is just 40 minutes from my Cambridge base — I travel regularly for Peterborough maternity sessions and travel is included in all packages.
Yes — I cover the full Peterborough, Stamford, and Rutland area including Bourne, Market Deeping, Oundle, and across the Nene Valley into Northamptonshire.
